Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR) for Licensed Health and Behavioral Health Staff
ECHO-Chicago at the University of Chicago is offering the Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR) course to train health and behavioral health professionals working in outpatient settings on the core competencies to provide safer care. This training is a self-paced online training that takes about 8 hours to complete and is available on demand for a period of 5 months once started. There is no cost to participate.

By the conclusion of the training, participants will be able to:
Professional Development Hours for Illinois licensed school support personnel (school social workers, counselors, psychologists, nurses, etc.) are available at no cost.
Continuing Education Units are available at no cost for the following professions: Illinois Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Social Workers, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, & Advanced Practice Nurses.
This training meets the requirements related to training for school personnel about suicide prevention listed in 105 ILCS 5/10-22.39.
