Project Coordinator
Aliza R. Baron, AM, is a Project Coordinator for ECHO-Chicago. She began her professional life as a licensed clinical social worker, earning a Master of Arts at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Social Policy, and Social Administration at the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan. She joins the ECHO-Chicago team after serving as project coordinator for the Coleman Palliative Medicine Training Program since its inception in 2012. For nearly 3 decades she has worked in research in education in the Section of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, supporting diverse curricula for physicians, medical students, and residents. She is passionate about collaborative curricula development, implementation and evaluation that strives to be engaging with an emphasis on skill development and measurable outcomes. In her free time, you can find her practicing yoga, dancing in somatic movement-based classes, and dog sitting for friend’s dogs.
