Kathryn West, A.M., L.C.S.W., is a the Transformation Impact Manager for ECHO-Chicago. When she’s not coordinating series or trying to find new ways to share the ECHO message via social media, she loves reading, napping with her cats, and re-watching The Office (which she will quote at any given opportunity). Kathryn graduated from the School of Social Service Administration here at the University of Chicago in 2017 with a Master of Arts in social work and a certificate from the Graduate Program in Health Administration and Policy. She graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in English/creative writing and a minor in philosophy. Between her undergraduate and graduate years, Kathryn was an AmeriCorps member with Youth & Opportunity United in Evanston, IL. Kathryn’s favorite thing about ECHO-Chicago is the way that each series becomes collaborative and interdisciplinary; she’s looking forward to continuing to spread the ECHO model via our Superhub initiatives and tell the stories of our participants using social and multimedia.
