Research Manager
Myles Castro, MPH, is the Research Manager for ECHO-Chicago. When he’s not in the office, you can find Myles exploring neighborhood festivals and street markets. He’s also an avid endurance runner, a french fry enthusiast, and enjoys sampling regional delicacies from around the globe. Myles received his Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a concentration in Community Health Practice from DePaul University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining ECHO-Chicago, he worked as Manager of Implementation Research at the Chicago Center for HIV Elimination (CCHE) at the University of Chicago, where he oversaw several local and national HIV-related research studies. Myles’ career has been dedicated to addressing hyper-local health inequities, making ECHO-Chicago’s mission “…to build community-based primary care capacity to reduce the serious health disparities affecting children and adults in underserved communities.” a natural fit with his passion for improving care in historically divested communities.
