Sandra Tilmon, MPH, is the Research Manager for ECHO-Chicago. Outside of the office, you can find Sandra chasing after her daughter, cooking for friends, and listening to podcasts. After earning her MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Sandra has worked in research, analysis, and quality improvement, specializing in data throughout. For content, she worked in reproductive health at the University of Chicago Hospital and at Cook County Hospital, STI/HIV Epidemiology at the City of Chicago, survey research at NORC, and chronic disease research at AllianceChicago. Also at AllianceChicago, Sandra worked on HepCCATT and was a project partner with Data Science for Social Good to create an innovative risk model for Type 2 Diabetes. She was also an instructor for Introductory Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Methods at Benedictine University. What Sandra appreciates most about ECHO-Chicago is its commitment to safety net health organizations and efforts to reduce health disparities.
